Emphasis is being placed on vaccination campaigns to combat the corona virus. Efforts are being made to get more people vaccinated. However, there was a lot of confusion in the vaccination program in Thane today. There was a huge crowd of citizens at the vaccination program conducted on behalf of Shiv Sena. People were struggling to get inside through the gate.

The vaccination program was organized by MP Rajan Vichare at Shubham Mangal office in Chandanwadi. Rajan Vichare himself was present at the venue from the beginning.Initially, the camp was held for vaccinating 300 people. The event was well attended by the citizens residing in the area. Considering the number of people coming for vaccination, it was decided to vaccinate another 200 people. People had lined up at the venue for vaccination since 6 am. Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde had come for the inauguration of the vaccination program.

The local Shiv Sainiks and the police administration were managing the crowd for the event. But the crowd created chaos at the gate due to which the gate was closed. People alleged that acquaintances were being let in. Looking at the chaos on the gate, MP Rajan Vichare got angry. Vichare slapped a Shiv Sainik standing at the gate and ordered him not to give priority to his acquaintance. People have been queuing outside since morning.

Many vaccination centers in Thane have been closed for the last 3-4 days. There was chaos and crowd at vaccine centre where limited stock of vaccines were available. On Monday, Thane Municipal Corporation vaccinated 22,000 people on the same day and set a record. However, due to lack of stocks on the next day, it was time for the administration to close the center.

It is expected to get stocks on Tuesday. However, the vaccine was not available until Thursday evening. As a result, vaccination centers were closed for three days in a row.
