A huge fire broke out at a 14-storey building at Times Tower in Kamala Mills Compound in the Lower Parel area on Friday morning at 6:47 am. The BMC's MFB reported this tragic incident. Firefighting operations are currently underway.

A video of flames coming out of the Times building is going viral on social media. As of now, no injuries are reported. Authorities declared this fire a Level 2 fire. Fire bridge team is currently at the accident site trying to control the blaze. 

According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade, preliminary reports suggest the fire originated on the seventh floor and later spread to both upper and lower floors, affecting the ground-plus-14-floor glass façade commercial building, which includes a basement.

In addition to firefighters, over 30 officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade are on-site. Ambulances, BEST supply teams, and local ward officials are also present.
