Nagpur, June 4

After the announcement made by the Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation Vijay Wadettiwar regarding unlocking in 18 districts, there was total chaos and confusion across the state.

In a short span of time, this is the second goof-up by Wadettiwar, which reflects lack of coordination in the government.

Guidelines for the unlock will be issued by noon on Friday, Wadettiwar said around noon. But, in fact, neither the chief minister nor the government made any such announcement till last night.

The chief minister’s office had clarified that no such decision had been taken after Wadettiwar’s announcement on Thursday. When asked by the media on Friday morning, Wadettiwar said that the proposal regarding the unlock has gone to the chief minister.

The State Disaster Management Authority has prepared some guidelines regarding unlock. The draft has been sent to the chief minister. He agreed that these guidelines would be implemented after reviewing the situation in the district.

The guidelines will be issued by noon, Wadettiwar said. However, as no order has been issued by the government till last night, various questions are being raised.
