The story of Pradip Singh, who secured 26th rank out of all India in the 2019 UPSC exams, is certainly inspiring to all. Pradeep's father had sold his house to prepare for his UPSC and sent him to Delhi. Pradeep prepared for this exam day and night for almost a year and a half and passed the UPSC exam in his first attempt. 

But according to the rank he got IRS service. Pradeep's dream since childhood was to become an IAS officer. So he made a second attempt. In this endeavor, he secured 26th rank all over India and his dream came true.

Pradeep Singh completed his entire education from Sonipat, his schooling from Shambhu Dayal School and computer science engineering from DCRUST College.His mother is a housewife and he has a brother and a sister.

A boy from a middle class family, Pradip has been good at studies since childhood. Due to this, his family decided to send him to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. The financial situation in their home was not so good. That is why Pradeep decided to pass the UPSC exam in his first attempt. He worked hard day and night and succeeded in his first attempt.

Pradeep Singh confesses it was tough juggling his Income Tax Inspector’s job along with the IAS preparation. But whenever he felt demotivated and thought of giving up, his father encouraged him to stick to his dreams and focus on the preparation.Singh’s message to aspirants is simple – “Self-motivation is the best key to achieve any goal.”
