Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Tesla CEO on April 18. They had a conversation about various topics, including the potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation. Their discussion also covered several key points from their previous meeting in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.

 

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation. India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains.”

The Prime Minister underlined India's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the United States in these areas. Although Tesla is apparently on the edge of entering the Indian market, the post made no mention of this news or any specifics about the company's plans in India.
