Telangana Building Collapse: At least six laborers are feared dead after a six-story under-construction building collapsed in Bhadrachalam on Wednesday afternoon, according to regional media reports. Several others were injured, and rescue operations are ongoing to locate those still trapped under the rubble.

Rescue teams, including police, revenue, and panchayat raj officials, rushed to the site. Heavy machinery like cranes and excavators is being used to clear the debris and search for survivors.

Initial reports suggest the collapse happened due to structural flaws. It is believed safety norms were violated as four additional floors were being added to an older structure.

The building’s owner, identified as Sripati Srinivasa Rao, is reportedly absconding. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to hold those responsible accountable.
