Mathura, Uttar Pradesh (October 15, 2024): An 8-year-old girl fell from a moving train in Madhya Pradesh and was found injured 16 kilometers away after an extensive search. A video of the rescue operation has been shared by the UP Police on social media.

The footage shows the moment when the girl is found by the police officers. The video then captures the girl being taken to a hospital, where her father expresses his gratitude to the authorities.

According to police, the family from Madhya Pradesh was traveling to Vrindavan with their daughter when the incident occurred. Passengers had opened an emergency window for ventilation during the night. The girl fell out of the window as the train was moving.

When the father realized his daughter was missing, the train had already traveled about 10-12 kilometers. The train was stopped, and the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) were informed.

Teams from the GRP, RPF, and the railways were divided to search a 16-kilometer area. The search operation was successful when the girl was found injured beside the tracks.

A goods train was spotted approaching, and railway officials managed to stop it to transport the girl to a hospital. She was admitted to a hospital in Lalitpur, where she is recovering from injuries to her leg.
