A day after the police action on the Jamia Millia Islamia campus in New Delhi, a video of students and alumni cleaning the roads leading to the university is going viral on the internet. A group of volunteers gathered to clean the streets in New Friends Colony area of ​​Delhi after Monday's protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act-CAA and the Delhi Police action on campus.

After the protest ended on Monday evening, a group of protesters noticed the garbage outside the gate of the premises and decided to clean up it themselvs. In the video, a group of boys can be seen picking the garbage, sweeping the road in the chilly weather of Delhi. Shiraj Sheikh Babu was one of the volunteers and is an alumnus of JMI, working as a research associate.

Babu said, "Around 10 o'clock when the protest was over. A lot of garbage was lying outside the main gate of the campus. 10 to 12 students were present at that time. Undergraduates, MA and some former students decided to clean the area. He said, "There was a feeling of fear and anger among the students and everyone on campus, but we had to keep our campus clean too, so we did it''.
