Before Deepika, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was the highest tax paying actress of Bollywood, paying over Rs 5 crore in the financial year 2013-14.
According to Stockgro, Deepika Padukone's estimated net worth is around Rs 500 crore and she earns Rs 40 crore per year. The Pathan actress has also increased her fees for films since 2018. It is currently around Rs 15-20 crores for films and Rs 8 crore for advertisements.
Deepika's recently released film 'Pathan' was a hit at the box office and grossed 1030 crores worldwide. Deepika's huge wealth and income has made her the highest paying actress in Bollywood.
According to several media reports, Deepika Padukone tops the list of actresses while Akshay Kumar is the highest paid actor among actors. According to reports, Akshay Kumar pays more than Rs 25 crore in taxes every year.
