Relevant recruitment process is being done by Railways for Lucknow Mandal and Ijjatnagar Mandal. 188 posts will be filled in the post of Getman of Lucknow Board and 135 posts will be filled in Ijatnagar. A total of 323 posts will be filled for Gateman posts.

For Gateman Vacancy 2022 in Railways, one has to go to ner.indianrailways.gov.in and apply online. There is no charge for the application. Applications will be accepted online only.
As per the advice given by RRC, only after submitting the online application, its printout should be removed. A copy of the application may come in handy later. Candidates who have passed education up to class 10 can apply from any recognized board. Age 65
Gateman will be paid an honorarium equivalent to Grade Pay 1800 (Level 1) salary. The current rate is around Rs 25,000 per month. Note that the recruitment process will be based on the applications submitted.
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of their period of military service. The selected candidate will have to undergo a medical test at the Railway Hospital. The final selection of the candidate will be done after passing the A-3 medical category.
