NCB official Sameer Wankhede, who arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan for disrupting a drug party on a luxury cruise ship, is currently embroiled in controversy. Doubts are being raised about the actions taken by Wankhede and the documents he used to get the job.

Bollywood's drug connection came to the fore after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB was then activated. Summons were issued to many big names in Bollywood. And a lot of cases were interrogated by Sameer Wankhede. After this, Wankhede is now under discussion again due to the Aryan Khan case.

Wankhede has been embroiled in controversy over serious allegations made by NCP leader and minister Nawab Malik and claims made by Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the cruise operation. He will be questioned by the NCB. There is also the possibility of their replacement.

Wankhede is the Mumbai divisional director of NCB, has previously worked in the customs department and service tax department at the airport. While working in those departments, he has taken legal action against many big celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap.

Currently, Sameer Wankhede is in the news due to the arrest of Shah Rukh's son Aryan Khan. However, this is not the first time that the names of Shah Rukh and Wankhede have been discussed together. The same thing happened 10 years ago. But that case did not cost Shah Rukh so much.

In July 2011, Shah Rukh Khan was returning to India with his family. Enjoying vacations in London and Holland, when the family landed at the airport the customs department led by Wankhede stopped them.

Shah Rukh had 20 bags at that time. Wankhede and his team interrogated Shah Rukh for a long time. The inquiry revealed that Shah Rukh had brought more goods than the limit.

Shah Rukh and his family had broken the rules. Wankhede took legal action. He asked Shah Rukh to pay a fine of Rs 1.5 lakh. Shah Rukh and Wankhede were in the discussion at that time.

The connection between Bollywood and drug dealers was revealed after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput last year. The names of many great artists came forward. The case was interrogated under the leadership of Wankhede. Over the past year, the NCB has grown in the area, including Mumbai.
