As the Delhi government started the registration of properties at the office of the sub-registrar, 26 applications were submitted at the offices, Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday.

"From today, the work of the registry has started in the sub-registrar offices of Delhi government. As many as 26 registry applications came today," Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.

On Sunday, with several other relaxations, the Delhi government also announced allowing the government offices, including Registrars and Sub-Registrars, to function.

They were asked to function with senior officers of the level of Deputy Secretary and above at full strength, and the remaining staff attending up to 33 per cent as per requirement.

Delhi has extended the lockdown for another two week from Monday.
