Mamata Banerjee ahead in round 4 of counting after trailing behind by 3,000 votes

In round 4, West Bengal CM got 8,636 votes while BJP's Suvendu Adhikari got 4,145 votes. In the following round, the BJP candidate was ahead again by over 2,000 votes. Mamata Banerjee was trailing by a margin of nearly 3,000 votes in each of the first three rounds of counting, her vote share increased gradually in the fourth and fifth rounds. 

West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee who was trailing behind BJP's Suvendu Adikhari in Nandigram in the first three rounds, was back in the game in the fourth round. Though the TMC supremo is still trailing overall, she was leading in the fourth round of counting, according to figures provided by the Election Commission of India. Adhikari, a former aide to Banerjee, was leading for most part of the morning.
