No injury to any person has been reported nor any damage to property was witnessed, except windowpanes of some vehicles parked nearby," the Delhi Police said in a statement. This blast at the Israel embassy in New Delhi comes on a day when India and Israel celebrate 29 years of India-Israel diplomatic relations. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in touch with senior Delhi Police officials and is constantly monitoring the situation, news agency ANI reported. The Mumbai Police has put the city on high alert after the blast in Delhi. The security has been tightened in the financial capital of the country. The “very low-intensity improvised explosive device” went off at 5:05 pm near Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road, the Delhi Police said. The explosion took place near Jindal House, which is located on the left side of the Israeli embassy. “No injury reported, nor any damage to property witnessed except to window panes of 3 vehicles.
