Shivani Agarwal, mother of the minor involved in the Pune Porsche crash that killed two IT professionals clarified that a viral rap video is not of her son. "I'm Shivani Agarwal, Vedant's mother. I want to request the media that the videos which have been circulated are not of my son. They are all fake videos. My son is in the detention centre. Please, request the police commissioner to protect him. Please protect him. Please. Please. Please," his mother said.
The video, which shows a boy rapping about the accident and its aftermath, has drawn intense criticism online. However, Pune Police confirmed that the boy in the video is not the minor involved in the crash. ACP Sunil Tambe of the Crime Branch, Zone 1, said that the video is being investigated, and technical analysis is underway. The video was posted by an Instagram user known as 'Cringistaan2' and contains lyrics making fun of the accident that killed two IT professionals, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, on May 19.

An actual 17-year-old driver behind the wheel of the Porsche faces renewed legal challenges. The Juvenile Justice Board revoked his bail granted earlier this week and remanded him to an observation home until June 5th. The initial bail decision, along with a requirement for the minor to write a short essay on road safety, drew widespread criticism. The teenager's father, builder Vishal Agarwal, has also faced consequences. Authorities arrested him after he allegedly attempted to evade police following the accident. A local court remanded him police custody till May 24.
