Social media erupted with memes and jokes after India’s Varun Chakravarthy dismissed Australian opener Travis Head in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 4. Head, known for his explosive batting against India, looked dangerous once again but fell after a quick 39 off 33 balls.
India captain Rohit Sharma introduced Chakravarthy into the attack in the ninth over. The wrist-spinner struck on his very first delivery, as Head mistimed a shot toward long-off, where Shubman Gill completed the catch.
