Indian Ambassador to Japan Sibi George and his wife Joice Sibi visited the Indian Navy ship Shivalik at Japan's Yokosuka and had discussions with Rear Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, NM, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet.Taking to Twitter, the Embassy of India in Japan said, "Ambassador Sibi George and Madam Joice Sibi visited INS Shivalik at Yokosuka on 15 November 2022. Indian Naval ships Shivalik and Kamorta arrived in Japan on November 2 to participate in exercise Malabar 2022 and International Fleet Review (IFR).Malabar Exercise started in 1992 as a bilateral naval exercise between the navies of India and the US. Japan joined the Malabar exercise in 2015, making it a trilateral exercise.
