Aurangabad, April 10:

More than 4.45 lakh students appear for the various undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations within the jurisdiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) in the last week.

The first-year undergraduate courses examinations began on April 7. A total of 76,187 lakh students of UG courses are taking the examinations.

As many as 1.36 lakh students appear at 250 centres in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts on April 6.

Similarly, 1.70 lakh candidates, including the first year, second and third years, were present for the examination in offline and online modes on April 7. Over 60,000 candidates took the examination on April 8 while attendance of examinees on April 9 was 78,000.

Director of Board of Examinations and Evaluation Dr Yogesh Patil said that 4.45 lakh candidates appeared for the examinations during the last four days.
