Aurangabad, March 13:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has constituted six squads, who would be visiting various parts of the city, to conduct Covid-19 tests of the business fraternity and others from Monday.

Meanwhile, the civic health officials have appealed to the business fraternity and their staff not to rush or gather at the Covid Care Centre (CCC) at Padampura for conducting RT-PCR/antigen tests. They feared that Covid-19 patients are admitted in the wards of Padampura CCC, and there are chances that the virus could spread due to the crowd. A beeline is being formed at the CCC for the past few days. The businessmen, traders and other establishment-owners are seen standing in the long queue.

It may be noted that the district collector has given relaxation to get the tests done in the private laboratories and produce the certificate on demand.
