Aurangabad, Jan 4:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 180 antigen and 1502 RT-PCR tests (total 1682 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced ten Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 85 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected three Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 288 RT-PCR tests on suspects. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams conducted 87 antigen tests and detected seven Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 1,141 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted eight RT-PCR tests; District Civil Hospital conducted one, and private laboratories performed 64, on Monday. The private laboratories also conducted eight antigen tests and found no infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
