Aurangabad, April 30:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 2,101 antigens and 1,761 RT-PCR tests (total of 3,862 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 85 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 85 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected 10 persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 537 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 1,930 antigen tests and detected 64 Coronavirus-infected persons. They also collected swab samples of 939 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has conducted 67 RT-PCR tests, District Civil Hospital conducted 15 and private laboratories did 203 on Friday. The private laboratories also conducted 86 antigen tests and found 11 infected patients. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
