Aurangabad, Oct 19:

The administration of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) has extended the last date of admission for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses upto October 31.

The last date of admission was October 15. However, many students, specially from rural areas, are facing problems like unavailability of the Internet or coverage area.

Those who are aspirants of PG second year and UG second or third year will be able to take admission up to October 31. The last date of submission of eligibility form is November 15.

The university will announce a separate schedule for the PG first admission after the declaration of the result of UG final year summer 2020 examinations. There are 420 colleges with intake four lakh in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed and Osmanabad districts.

The admission process is generally completed in July end every year. This year, it was delayed due to the spread of Novel coronavirus. Bamu urged students and colleges to take note of date extension.
