Aurangabad, May 11:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has started COVID testing facility at its city and Osmanabad sub-centre for its employees.

It may be noted the university established two testing laboratory last year with the help of the district administration. The first laboratory started at Pearl Herbert DNA Barcoding Centre in the city campus, while the second at Osmanabad sub-centre.

The teachers, officers and employees whose native place is out of the district, work on both the campuses.

Those who want to do test have to move from one place to another because of increased patient numbers. So, the administration decided to provide the facility on the campus for early and fast detection of the pandemic virus. The employees can go for the RT-PCR test from 10 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm. The test will be done free of cost.
