Aurangabad, April 24:

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) will provide the availability of beds in hospital for COVID patients through its website.

It may be noted that there is a rise in COVID patients strength. Therefore, patients and their relates wander here and there to seek a bed for the treatment.

It will also make available the phone number, map and address of the hospital.

The university administration sought permission from Aurangabad Municipal Corporation administrator Astik Kumar Pande to link the data of beds and hospitals on its website from ‘Majhi Health, Majya Hati (MHMH)’ application. The MHMH app was developed by the AMC.

The University Information Centre Network (UNIC) and Bajaj Incubation Centre of the university will implement the initiative once the civic gives the permissions.

The university said that around 3 lakh users visit the university website in a month, so, it will be beneficial for more and more citizens easily.
