Aurangabad, Jan 13:

The Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) in collaboration with Duttaji Bhale blood bank had organized a blood donation camp at its office at Waluj on Tuesday. The camp was inaugurated by additional collector Anant Gavhane. Massia president Abhay Hanchanal was the chief guest. A total of 80 bottles of blood were collected at the camp.

On the occasion, Gavhane said there was a need for such camps as to ensure that there was enough blood available for patients. He praised Massia for organizing such camp. Messiah's office bearers, executive members, company workers and employees attended the camp. Narayan Pawar, Kiran Jagtap, Rahul Mogle, Abdul Sheikh, Vikas Patil, Arjun Gaikwad, Sarjerao Saluke, Rajesh Mandhani and other members were present.

Webinar on nutritious diet

A webinar on 'Nutritious Diet for Obesity and Stress Management' was also organized by Massia and Rotary Club of Aurangabad Metro. Director of absolute wellness clinic, Dr Sangeeta Deshpande gave information about the need and quantity of diet according to age. She said obesity and stress due to various reasons can be avoided by taking a balanced and nutritious diet.
