Thieves'' triple seats on a motorcycle are creating havoc by snatching gold chains of the women at Bajajnagar. Two incidents have been reported a few days back.

Shubhangi Anil Tupsandar (Sarabhumi, Wadggaon) had gone to conduct Puja on Diwali at Akshay Computers shop at Mohatadevi Chowk in Bajajnagar on Saturday. While returning home with her son on a moped, three persons on a motorcycle came near her and snatched her gold chain weighing 7 grams near Bhondve Patil Public School at Bajajnagar at around 8 pm. Shubhanji shouted for help, but the thieves had fled away then.

In another incident, Sushma Balu Kurhade (Jaibhavaninagar, Mhada Colony area) was going on her moped with her daughter Shruti on Tuesday evening. Three thieves on a motorcycle came near her near Alfanso School and snatched her gold chain weighing 1.5 tolas.

The chain snatchers have created havoc in the Bajajnagar area and are targeting women on mopeds. Earlier, a gold chain of Sonali Mahajan (Sarabhumi, Wadgaon) was also snatched on November 6.
