Aurangabad, April 16:

The relatives and friends are distancing from the Corona patients. It was experienced at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), as a deceased Corona patient was lying in the GMCH mortuary for the past four days. The administration has not found the relatives of the patient for completing the procedure after death and for last rites. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Pandurang More (52, Dhakephal, Paithan). He died on April 13 at 11.30 am while undergoing treatment. The GMCH informed about his death on the mobile phones numbers given in the patient’s records, but none responded. The body of More is lying in the GMCH since April 13 and no one has come for his inquiry. There is a need to complete the necessary procedure after death and perform the last rites.

Medical superintendent Dr Suresh Harbade said that the patient was referred from Dhakephal to GMCH. An inquiry was made on the given address, but the police Patil said that there is no such person from their village. One mobile number is switched of while the other is a wrong number. The police have been informed about it, he said.
