Sound Association of Aurangabad demanded that they are dependent on the entertainment sector, which should be given relaxation in lockdown.

They made their demand with a short film being sent to Central and State Governments. MLC Ambadas Danve released the association’s short film on Sunday.

It also submitted a memorandum to Danve.

In the memorandum, it was stated that those who are in the entertainment industry and other depending sectors are facing financial problems as there is no permission to organise entertainment shows and programme due to spread of Novel coronavirus.

Association president Sandeep Kale, secretary Nandu Sonawne, vice president Arun Kamble and Sameer Patil were present.

Sandeep Kale said that the Government should provide help to kit and kin of those who those people who were from the entertainment sector and died or ended their life in Novel coronavirus situation.

There are 10,000 singers, musicians, sound engineers, artists, make-up artists, choreographers, photo-videographers, light and generator service providers in the district who are dependent on the entertainment field. “We need concession in fee for our children’s education, an extension to replay loan,” he said. Dyaneshwar Dange, Manoj Gangwe, Mahesh Achintanwar were also present.

Folk artists of Bharud, Jagran, Godhal submitted a memorandum to the district guardian minister and chief minister. Efforts are on the government level to help them.
