Aurangabad, April 2:

The state government has imposed the provisions of ‘Mission Begin Again’ till March 15. The provisions of the mission should be implemented rigorously to bring the Corona Pandemic under control, directed the district collector, Sunil Chavan.

He was speaking during a meeting of the senior officers at the district collectorate. Commissioner of Police, Dr Nikhil Gupta, ZP CEO Dr Mangesh Gondawale, SP Mokshada Patil, nodal officer Shrikant Harkar and others were present.

Initially, Chavan informed about the rules in the ‘Mission Begin Again’ and action to be taken against the residents accordingly. He said, that the ward wise villages with market places should be identified and teams should be deployed. There should be three supervisors including 2 from the district collectorate and one from the police department. Similarly, five teams should be headed by one observer and there should be four supervisors’ teams as per requirement in the crowded places and sensitive wards in the municipal corporation jurisdiction. It should include one employee of the corporation. The regional transport office should establish two teams and each team should take action against 100 vehicles daily for not following the Covid norms. Only two passengers should be allowed in auto-rickshaw and only 50 percent passengers should be allowed in the state and private buses. The state excise department should establish five teams and should keep a watch that the shops are closed within the time limit. These squads should take action against 10 establishments daily in their jurisdictions. The food and drug administration should establish three teams and action should be taken against 20 establishments daily, the district collector clarified.
