A thief swiftly stole a 4.3-tola gold chain from a woman’s purse while she was shopping in Rangargalli for a relative’s wedding. The theft occurred on Thursday at around 5 pm.

Suman Kale (55) had gone shopping in Rangar Galli for her nephew’s wedding. She had kept a 4.37-tola gold chain in her purse to wear at the wedding. While shopping at a clothing store in the area, she noticed that her purse’s zipper was open. Upon checking, she found that the gold chain was missing.

In the past, several thefts targeting shoppers have taken place in Rangar Galli, Paithan Gate, and Shahaganj areas. However, the City Chowk and Kranti Chowk police have not been able to solve a single case.
