Aurangabad, May 30:

A mother – son duo returning home after attending a marriage ceremony on motorcycle died after a dash of a speeding car on Beed By-pass Road near Gandheli Shivar on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased have been identified as Kaushalyabai Kishan Dhotre (45) and Dnyaneshwar Kishan Dhotre (25, Both residents of Rajpimpri, Gevrai, Beed). Both had gone to attend the marriage of Dnyaneshwar’s cousin at Waluj area two days back. Today, they were returning after completing the ceremony on motorcycle (MH 23 V 1862). A speeding car (MH 20 EZ 7455) hit their motorcycle near Gandheli Shivar from the opposite side. Both of them were thrown away from the motorcycle.

On receiving the information the API of Chikalthana police station Vishwas Patil ASI Kashinath Lute and constable Sampat Rathod rushed to the spot. They took the injured mother, son and the car driver Raosaheb Baburao Madge (Ekod Padhod) to the Government Medical College and Hospital. The doctors declared the mother-son dead after examination. The car driver Madge is injured and is being treated. A case has been registered at the Chikalthana police station.
