Devaram Chaudhary (Girgaon, Mumbai) has Sonalika Metal Corporation metal manufacturing company at Mumbai. In 2017, the executive director of Orbit Electromate India, Anil Roy had given the steel order to Chaudhary. Then, Chaudhary between the period of July 2017 and March 2018, sent steel amounting Rs 60 lakhs to Roy. Meanwhile, Chaudhary persuaded for his money to Roy, but Roy told him to purchase shares in his Orbit Company and he will make him partner. Chaudhary and his wife Rutudevi then purchased 2.25 shares of the company amounting Rs 35 lakhs.

On March 1, 2019, when Chaudhary checked MCA online site, his name was not seen as the director of the company and even his shares worth Rs 1.25 lakh were not seen. When realized that he has been cheated, he sent a legal notice to Roy.

Then, Roy contacted him in July, 2019 and told him that he will make an affidavit and will make him director of the company again. He will return all his dues, Roy assured to Chaudhary. Chaudhary and his wife were made the directors again and Roy purchased steel amounting Rs 32 lakh from them. On August 9, 2019, Roy with forged signatures sacked both of them as directors.
