If all the party figures added, the number of GPs goes up to 1075 while there are only 617 GPs.

Sena leader MLC Ambadas Danve said that earlier, Sena had won elections in 287 GPs, today, it has gone up to 360.

BJP District president Vijay Autade said that his party would have a majority in 208 GPs.

“A total of 2318 members of the party won the election. So, our party is on top position in rural politics,” he added.

Congress District Committee president Kalyan Kale said that 50 GPs are now under their control while MVA would win remain seats, reducing BJP’s strength.

NCP district president Kailas Patil feel that their candidates would win on 189 places and become sarpanch. He said that tally of MVA would increase by 50 seats.
