Aurangabad, Feb 1:

Some industrialists had a balanced opinion about the union Budget while others felt that many things are still unclear, in an online programme organised at CMIA Conference Hall on Monday to help industrialists to understand the budget.

President of Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) Kamleish Dhoot, senior vice-president Shivprasad Jaju, honorary secretary Satish Lonikar, immediate past president Giridhar Sanganeria, industrialist Rishi Bagla, CII president Mukund Kulkarni, Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries Association president Abhay Hanchnal and other industrialists were present.

Mukund Kulkarni, Kamleish Dhoot, Abhay Hanchnal, Shivprasad Jaju and Satish Lonikar participated in the discussions. Some industrialists termed it a positive budget. The industrialists said that 20 per cent of the total industries are in Maharashtra.

“Only Nashik city was included in Metro project, which is a matter of joy for us. But, Aurangabad is nowhere in the selection list. The grandeur of Aurangabad is bigger compared to Nashik in terms of development,” they said.

The budget will boost MSME while benefits for start-ups were extended for one more year.
