Aurangabad, Nov 8:

The provisional seat matrix for MBBS and BDS courses admissions was displayed. There are 6,600 MBBS seats in 43 Government and private colleges across the State. Of them, 25 Government Colleges including from Aurangabad, Nanded, Latur and Ambejogai have 4,330 seats.

There are 18 private medical colleges from Jalna and Latur in the different parts of the State with 2,270 seats.

A total of 29 colleges including four Government (326 seats) and private colleges have 2,676 seats. Mumbai has two Government College while one in Aurangabad and Nagpur each.

The admission process for MBBS and BDS courses began from November 5. Those who qualified National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG-2020 are eligible to apply for the admissions.

The aspirants were waiting for the commencement of the admission process since then declaration of the result last month. The last date of registration and paying is November 12 (up to 5 pm).

The process of filling the preference form commenced on November 6 and ends on November 13 (11.59 pm). The provisional merit list for MBBS, BDS course only will be released at 8 am on November 13. The selection list for the first round of these two courses will be declared after 5 pm on November 15.
