Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC)'s health department has made registration mandatory at 30 centres on ‘Co-WIN Application’ for vaccination.

The AMC started vaccination for persons between 30 and 44 years of age on Saturday. A total of 2080 vaccinated on the first day.

It laid down some norms for vaccination to be done from June 21 to avoid a rush of people. Citizens will have to register first on the ‘App’ between 8 am to 10 am. After the registration, they need to be in a long queue at 67 centres.

There will be vaccination of those citizens who are above 45 years of age at all the centres. There are also 30 centres where one can be vaccinated without registration on ‘App.’

Medical health officer Dr Neeta Padalkar said that there is a vaccination arrangement for those between 30 and 44 years of age group and those who are 45 years and above age.
