Corona has changed the economic cycle of many sectors. However, the Regional Transport Office (RTO) Aurangabad has collected 103 per cent more revenue than the target given in the nearby collecting Rs 185 crore in the last year.

The RTO generates revenue through various means including registration of new vehicles, passing, issuing licence and action against violators. Due to the lockdown last year, many sectors experienced a setback. The RTO also faced difficulties as automobile showrooms were closed. However, the officials focused their attention on those who violated the rules during lockdown. But official work resumed after unlock. The showrooms were also permitted to function. Received new target
