Aurangabad, Nov 13:

The ten-day clean-up drive organized by the municipal corporation concluded on Friday. The sanitary workers of the municipal corporation and citizens successfully carried out the cleaning campaign.

The initiative included cleaning of zonal offices, gardens, municipal schools, health centers, government offices, dividers, historic gates and buildings. Meanwhile, the citizens cleaned their houses and surrounding areas. In particular, there was a spontaneous response from the citizens for the ''Wall of Humanity'' initiative. Every citizen participating in the campaign is being given a certificate signed by the municipal administrator Astik Kumar Pandey. Pandey said that the ''Love Aurangabad'' campaign under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will continue. Public participation is very important for the campaign. Citizens are urged to segregate dry and wet and throw the garbage into the collection van without throwing their household waste elsewhere. Housing organizations and businesses who generate more than 100 kg of waste per day should try to dispose of their own waste.
