Aurangabad, Nov 21:

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC) has received 791objections over some questions appeared in MHT-CET. The entrance was conducted from October 1 to 20 and on November 7 (special session) in 32 shifts for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy and Agriculture courses across the State for the academic year 2020-21.

More than 4.20 lakh students took the test across the State. The question paper, students responses and answer keys were displayed in candidates login on November 10 and they were asked to submit objections about questions up to November 12.The Cell received 791 total objections about the questions of four subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

The chief moderators and moderators of the subjects have gone through the objections raised by the candidates and have found 469 objections valid and 322 as invalid. Based on the report submitted by the experts, the changes will be made in the database and the result will be processed. The scorecard containing percentile score for the respective group (PCB and PCM) will be made available to the candidates’ log in by November, 28. The subject-wise number of grievances is as follows; bracket indicates valid objections Physics -173 ( 100 valid), Chemistry-209 (125), Mathematics-278 (115), Biology-131 (129).
