Aurangabad, Dec 26:

Members of the Sikh community from Aurangabad on Saturday held a protest in Osmanapura Chowk in support of the thousands of farmers agitating near Delhi for the past several days against three new farm laws of the Centre. The protest was held with the support of Shiv Sena. The members expressed their anger against the BJP government and prime minister Narendra Modi stating that the agricultural laws have been passed without discussion in Parliament, making it unconstitutional.

The protest started around 11 am and ended at 1 pm. MLC Ambadas Danve, MLA Sanjay Shirsath, former mayor Nandkumar Ghodale and others led the agitation. A heavy police presence was maintained at the time. The bullock carts and tractors brought to the protest site were attracting everyone''s attention. Aadeshpal Singh Chhabda, Surendra Singh Sabarwal, Ranjitsingh Gulati, Navinsingh Oberoi, Rajendra Singh Jabinda, Harisingh Kanchwala, Rajendra Singh Chandhok stated that the government was ignoring the farmers. Ramesh Singh Bindra, Khushbir Singh Chandhok, Parvinder Singh Kaushal and others participated in the protest.
