Aurangabad, Nov 6:

The City Congress and Maharashtra State Janjagaran Samiti on Friday demanded that Aurangabad Aligarh Muslim University be started from the upcoming academic session i.e. June 2021 and Urdu be given the status of a second language in Maharashtra. The delegation presented various demands to the divisional commissioner here on Friday. The delegation consisted of Y K Builder, Dr Aziz Irfan, Khan Mohammad Yasser, Syed Muzaffar, Numan Ahmed and others. The delegation said that space was available for AMU in Aurangabad district and it should be started as soon as possible.
