Aurangabad, June 27:

The weekly Sunday market witnessed a huge rush today before the implementation of Covid curbs.

It may be noted that all the Covid restrictions were lifted from the city after the patients' figure went below 100.

There was a pleasant atmosphere in the market. But, the joy did not last all the districts, including Aurangabad, were put on the third level as a precaution for the possible third wave of a pandemic virus.

District Collector Sunil Chavan will announce the restriction on June 28.

There will be restrictions on shops once again. Considering this, customers thronged the Sunday market to purchase essential items.

Shahganj, Sarafa Bazaar, City Chowk, Machhlikhadak, Gulmandi, Kumbharwada, Rangar Galli, Aurangpura and Paithan Gate areas too witnessed a rush of customers.

The sky was cloudy since morning. The city started experiencing rains in the evening. This forced customers to leave the market.
