Aurangabad, Sept 28:
A Corona affected patient committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the Super Specialty Block in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday morning. The committee setup to inquire the matter registered the statements of 7 person present on the duty at ICU at that time.
The committee led by the chief executive officer of the Super Specialty Block Dr Sudhir Chaudhary has been setup to inquire in the suicide case. The other members included secretary Dr Avinash Lamb, member Dr Datta Gangurde, Dr Priti Birajdar and metrol Vimal Kedar. The committee questioned two resident doctors, 2 nurses, one class four employee, one house officer and one resident medical officer. They were asked about what they were doing at the time of incident and what they saw. The committee submitted the preliminary report of the inquiry to the Dean’s office.
Dean, Dr Kanan Yelikar said that the report has been prepared and strict action will be taken if anyone found guilty in this matter.
