Aurangabad, Nov 2:

A Hardware shop owner youth committed suicide by hanging self at Aaisahebnagar in the Harsul area. The incident came to light on Monday morning. The deceased Nishant Sopan Salunke (21), a native of Relgaon, Khuldabad, presently lived at Aaisahebnagar with parents and brother. They had gone to the native place while Nishant was alone at home. On Sunday, he returned from the shop in the evening and hanged himself to the ceiling fan. On Monday morning, his father called him on the phone but did not receive any reply. Hence, he asked his cousin Eknath Salunke to inquire about Nishant. Eknath went to Aaisahebnagar and saw the house''s door was open and found Nishant hanging when he entered the house. The Harsul police and his parents were informed immediately. The police took Nishant to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Harsul Police Station while PSI N S Jadhav is further investigating the case. The reason behind the suicide was not known.
