Aurangabad, July 21:

A youth died on the spot while going from Aurangabad to Bajajnagar as his motorcycle dashed the divider near Golwadi Phata on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bhagwat Chopde (27, Bajajnagar).

Police said, Bhagwat was going from the city to Bajajnagar in the wee hours on Wednesday. His motorcycle suddenly dashed the divider and he fell due to which he sustained severe head injuries.

On receiving the information, Cantonment police station PSI Eknath Narode and others rushed to the spot. He was taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared him dead after the examination. Bhagwat is survived by parents and a brother. A case has been registered at the Cantonment police station while constable Varsha Munde is further investigating the case.
