Former India pacer S Sreesanth who has been banned by the BCCI for his alleged role in IPL spot fixing case is likely to be included in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season for Kerala. According to a reports, KCA revealed that they would include the two-time World Cup winning player in the squad if he proves his fitness. 

The temperamental  fast bowler was given a life ban for his involvement in the 2013 IPL spot-fixing and betting scandal, saw his ban shortened to seven years by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Kerala recently announced former India pacer Tinu Yohannan as the new coach replacing Dav Whatmore. Sreesanth who represented India in 27 tests was arrested with  two of his Rajasthan Royals team mates, Ajit Chandilia and Ankit Chavan, on charges of spot- fixing. In 2015 a special court in Delhi had acquitted him of all charges.
