Gujarat Titans secured their second consecutive win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by eight wickets at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. Batting first, Royal Challengers Bengaluru suffered a major collapse. Virat Kohli was the first to fall for seven runs. Devdutt Padikkal managed only four while Phil Salt and skipper Rajat Patidar were dismissed for 14 and 12, respectively. Bengaluru was struggling at 42 for four.

Liam Livingstone held the innings together with a crucial knock of 54 runs. Jitesh Sharma contributed 33 as the duo added 52 runs for the fifth wicket. Tim David provided the final flourish with 32 runs as Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 169 for eight. For Gujarat Titans, Sai Kishore was the standout bowler with two wickets.
Chasing 170, Gujarat Titans started strong with a 42-run opening stand between Sai Sudharsan and skipper Shubman Gill. Gill fell for 14, but Jos Buttler took charge with an unbeaten 73. Sudharsan added 49 before being dismissed. Sherfane Rutherford remained not out on 30 as Gujarat Titans reached the target with ease.
