Allu Arjun on Thursday took to Twitter to proudly announce his daughter Allu Arha's acting debut in Tollywood. She will play the role of Prince Bharat in Samantha's upcoming film, Shaakuntalam. The period film is directed by Gunasekhar of Rudhramadevi fame. Allu Arjun thanked Gunasekhar and producer Neelima for giving his daughter a golden opportunity. Three generations of the Allu family have made a mark for themselves in Tollywood. Allu Aravind and Allu Arjun carry forward the legacy built by their father late Allu Ramalingaiah. Now, Allu Arha is the latest entry to the list. 

The Shaakuntalam team welcomed baby Arha with a special poster. Allu Sirish also took to Instagram and sent best wishes to his niece on her acting debut. Sharing a photo of her, he wrote, "Wishing my cutest baby niece Allu Arha all the best for playing Prince Bharata in #Shakuntalam. I'm sure she'll make all us proud." Shakuntalam is a mythological drama based on a popular Indian play Shakuntala by Kalidasa. The flick has Samantha essaying the titular role of Shakuntala and Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyant. Gunasekhar is directing the movie and is also bankrolling the film under his home banner Gunaa Teamworks.  The music for the movie is being composed by Mani Sharma.
