It is almost certain that former MLA and former BJP state vice-president Vasant Gite and Sunil Bagul will join Shiv Sena today.

Gite and Bagul from Nashik had met Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at Varsha Bungalow two days ago. After that, last night in Nashik, both the leaders had a two-hour long discussion with Shiv Sena leader, MP Sanjay Raut. Sanjay Raut will hold a press conference today to announce the entry of Gite and Bagul into Shiv Sena. After that, in the presence of Thackeray, the two will tie Shivbandhan at Varsha Bungalow at 6 pm.

Former MLA Balasaheb Sanap, who joined the Shiv Sena, has recently returned home to the BJP in the presence of Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis. There are discussions going on in Nashik that BJP office bearers who were annoyed with Sanap's entry would join Shiv Sena.
