The number of corona patients in Pune city and district continue to rate. Corona patients in the district have never crossed the 8,000-patient mark in a single day, and Pune has once again become Corona's hotspot in the state.

Due to rising cases, a review meeting will be held today in the presence of the administration and the people's representatives, the Deputy Chief Minister and the Guardian Minister of Pune, Ajit Pawar. In this meeting a lockdown will be announced or strict restrictions will be imposed in Pune.

Pune Chief Minister Ajit Pawar had warned Pune residents that a lockdown will be enforced if citizens violate covid rules and cases continue to rise from April 2. Against this backdrop, all eyes are on the meeting to be held today under the chairmanship of Pawar at the Divisional Commissioner's Office.

This meeting has given impetus to the administrative process.  The meeting will be attended by the Collector and Municipal Commissioner, People's Representative. The meeting is likely to decide whether a lockdown or tight restrictions will be imposed in Pune.

The meeting organized by Ajit Pawar will review the corona situation in Pune city, Pune district and Pimpri Chinchwad. How many corona patients are there in this place, what is the mortality rate, what is the current condition of the hospital, corona vaccination will be reviewed.There are currently 200 containment zones in Pune. Strict restrictions are likely to be imposed in this zone.
